Troubleshooting Electrical Circuits?

I don't have enough power in my home sockets to run anything. If you turn on all the lights at once they go very dim and the sockets don't have enough power to work anything.

Normally in a home, you run your light on one set of breakers. You should have 2 to 3 breakers only for your lights. Then your wall sockets should be on their own breakers. You should have 2 in your kitchen for sure and then 2 to 3 for the rest of your home. I'd check the fuse box and see how many breakers you do have. You'll need to upgrade your breaker box and more than likely when you do this you'll need to upgrade the wiring in your home. This sounds like your home wiring is very old and outdated. This can cause an electrical fire if you're not careful.

You might have to upgrade your system. We had to do that when we moved into our home.
