My Troy Bilt riding lawn mower won't start. If I take out the spark plug it will try to turn over, but if I put it back in it won't do anything. I have checked everything I could think of. Any ideas?

A lot of time it is the kill switch wire that has gone bad. This wire goes from the wiring chassis at the side of the motor firewall and attaches to the carburetor. You'll need to remove this, change the spark plugs and test the solenoids to make sure they are all still good. Also check the switch under the seat and reset this switch. You need to sit on the mower in order to start it and a lot of times this switch just needs to be reset.
