Supplies:

• scrap paper to practise
• good paper or a blank greetings card
• pens, crayons, or markers

Steps:

1. Use the letters U and W to draw tulips.

 
2. Practise on a scrap of paper. First draw the U.

 
3. Then add a W to the top of it.

 
4. Draw a line from one of the bottom points of the W to the bottom of the U.

5. Do the same on the other side.

 
6. Then colour it in.

 
7. Once you have practised you can draw a vase of tulips. Begin by drawing a long thin U for the vase.

 
8. Then draw a line across the top.

 
9. Draw long lines for stems.

10. With a tulip at the top of each.

 
11. Colour it in with markers.

 
12. Go over the stems with a green marker.

 
13. Add some more lines for leaves.

 
14. Add a message if you have chosen to make a card.
