Tuna, Ham and Mushroom Pepper Steak

The finished plate of tuna and ham mushroom pepper steak.Been craving for burger steak but beef burger is too heavy. So the best alternative for fatty meat is either chicken or tuna. Tuna is lighter so let's try to recreate a burger steak using it.

Ingredients:

  • tuna patties
  • 2 60g can tuna flakes in oil (drained)
  • 10 mushroom slices (minced)
  • 1 slice sweet ham (minced)
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp butter

Steps:

    Tuna Patties

    1. Put together tuna, minced mushroom, minced ham, egg, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix very well.
    2. Ingredients for tuna ham mushroom pepper steak.
       
    3. Add cornstarch and flour and mix again until well combined.
    4. Mixing up the ingredients with cornstarch.

    5. Place in fridge for 30 minutes.
    6. The tuna ham mixture, ready to be formed into patties.
       
    7. Scoop a spoonful of mixture and flatten into a pan. Cook until golden brown.
    8. Frying the patties in a pan.

    Mushroom Pepper Gravy

    1. Mix all ingredients in a pan.
    2. Making the mushroom gravy.
       
    3. Cook over low heat until thick.
    4. The completed mushroom pepper gravy.
       
    5. Drizzle gravy over tuna patties. Enjoy!
