Tuna, cheese and mushrooms are my husbands favorite. He loves baked goodies and so I am putting this recipe down for our Father's Day celebration.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup tuna
- 1/2 cup chopped button mushrooms
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp minced onions
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- pre-made dough
- pinch salt and pepper (to taste)
Steps:
- Saute onion and garlic.
- Add mushroom and stir fry for one minute.
- Add in the tuna and milk then add salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer for another minute.
- Gradually sprinkle grated cheese on the mixture.
- Stir the mixture until thick and sticky as the cheese melts.
- Set aside and let cool.
- Divide and cut pre-made dough into six.
- Flatten each dough and fill each with 1 teaspoonful of tuna mushroom mixture.
- Seal and roll carefully into balls.
- Place them in muffin or cupcake molds. It is best ti use muffin molds so the bread puffs into a mushroom shape.
- Cover and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 200 C.
- Serve and enjoy the cheesy tuna, puffy sensation of mushrooms.

This sounds delicious! Has anyone tried making these using won-ton wrappers? I understand a lot of low-carb recipes use won-ton wrappers.

I am in the UK What do you mean by pre made dough? Is that pastry or bread dough?
