Turmeric has many health uses. It has been used like an antibiotic for thousands of years. I add oil, such as coconut oil, and a dash of black pepper to enhance the absorption of the turmeric benefits. I also add a dash of turmeric in my white rice (water) to make it look like yellow rice.
Also, I add a sprinkle of Tumeric to egg whites to look like regular scrambled eggs for those who use liquid egg whites. Adding Turmeric to rice or eggs will not affect the taste since it is just a minute amount. Turmeric can be added to soups as well.

I make a healthy flavoring powder for my coffee using turmeric as well. I make a compound out of 2 parts cinnamon, 2 parts ginger, and 1 part turmeric. Then I use 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon in my coffee in the morning. You don't taste the turmeric at all, and all the spices are really good for you.
