If you need some colored hot glue to craft, then you can make it yourself very easily and quickly. You will need transparent hot glue and a colored wax crayon.
I used this method in my projects:
Total Time: 5 Minutes
Supplies:
- transparent general purpose hot melt glue stick
- colored wax crayon
- hot glue gun
- knife
- mat or board
Steps:
- Cut out a piece in the hot glue stick (see photo). The length of the piece depends on the required amount of colored hot glue.
- Cut the wax pencil to fit into the notch in the hot glue stick.
- Insert the cut pencil into the notch in the hot glue stick. Check that the diameter of the stick does not increase.
- Insert the sticker with the pencil end into the hot glue gun. Squeeze out the hot glue slowly until the colored glue appears. Be sure to use a gun with the heating temperature required for the hot glue stick.
