Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts Make these cute indoor holiday themed planters with items you have around your home. They make a cute decor touch and are great for your plants to propagate in (instead of a plain plastic cup).
Total Time: 30 minutes
Supplies:
- plastic bottle
- scissors
- Krylon marbelizing spray paint
- zip tie
- sticker ribbon
- holiday accent/extra pieces
Steps:
- Peel off any labels and cut your plastic bottle to your desired size. (I used a colored bottle for mine since I'm using a marbleizing spray paint).
- Spray paint the bottles gently and allow to dry.
- Use any holiday scraps for decoration if you want this to be holiday themed (ex. I had the red piece fall out of a wreath. I also used the branch part of a faux Christmas tree)
- Create a mini wreath by securing the ends together with a zip tie. Cut excess zip tie off.
- Using sticker ribbon, place a piece through the mini wreath and cover the zip tie. Then stick to the bottle.
- For the second one, I hot glued the red decoration at the top and underneath used sticker ribbon to go around.
- You're ready to place water inside and your plant. (It's nicer than looking at a plastic cup on the counter.)

Recycled, festive, and great for plant propagation - what more could you ask for from a repurposed plastic water bottle. Thank you for another fun idea!
