I found to my surprise that using cardboard from a toilet paper roll, about the size of a large paperclip, makes an excellent hair and debris picker-upper from off the keyboard.

I can't see the benefit. I just turn my keyboard upside down and shake it.
I just use the hose and vacuum cleaner. Works great.
I asked a computer repair man about using a vacuum on the keyboard, and he said it could cause a mini power surge.
Mostly I get cat hair out from under the keys and lint.
