Open boxes of partly used frozen foods can be a bit of a nuisance in the freezer. They become a difficult shape for storage as one end becomes flattened. Also food can fall out. Taking just one minute to fetch an elastic band and wrap it around the box to keep everything properly in place will save time and frustration later.

Yes, I do this and you can buy huge strong rubber bands.....love it
Great for those boxes containing fish sticks, too.
I sometimes use the rubber headbands you can get from the dollar tree for keeping my trash can bag inside. But for food, I learned a great way from working in restaurants for years.
When food is processed they put it in zipper bags and mark it. I go one step further and put it them into clear shoe boxes. I have them labeled Meat, Veggies, Fish, Fruit. They stack great and I can just reach in and grab what I want.
Hope that helps!
Great if you have a big freezer.. mine is tiny
