Barbie clothes are actually very easy to clean. When my daughter was little and had Barbies, I put the clothes in a mesh bag like what you'd put lingerie in.
The bags keep the clothes from getting "lost" in the wash, and they get a good cleaning too. I kept them in this bag to go in the dryer too. They would run through the washer and dryer along with like colors in a load of my clothes. I did this for years and never had a problem. And Barbie always looked fresh and clean!
