The best easiest way to remove nail polish is to use the stuffing of old dog toys. Dip once only with nail polish removal. The abrasiveness of the stuffing absorbs liquid well and removes polish well with only one single dip of polish removal.

You are creating a chemical reaction. The stuffing I am presuming is the poly kind, made of petrol products. Not the old of 50 years ago, when stuffing was cotton.
I would be very careful, esp if you use this on children.
