Sometimes the tiniest things come in so handy you wonder how you ever got along with out them. I needed to unscrew the hanger off the back of a frame. None of the screwdrivers in the house I share were small enough.
Then I remembered that sometimes a nail works, especially the kind where the tip has 4 sides. I didn't have one of those, either. So, in a last ditch effort, I tried the tip of a small scissors and it worked.
NOTE: If your scissors are Fisker or another good brand, I would not risk it. These were knock offs. N-JOY!

I remember decades ago, in the days of LP records and turntables for playing them I needed to change my stylus (needle). I had no screwdriver that small and a very smart sister in law said "Don't you have thumbnails?" She was the wife of an older brother and I loved her dearly and will never forget her.
This seems like a very dangerous idea. You could get cut pretty easily if the scissors close on your hand. Scissors, especially these little sewing type scissors, are very sharp.
It occurs to me that an eyeglass repair kit, complete with a tiny screwdriver, costs a dollar. You could pick one up the next time you go out. Certainly it isn't worth hurting yourself.
