Save your fingernails when adding keys to a key ring. Use the staple remover to separate the two parts of the keyring so you can easily slip the key on.

Thank you! I've always hated to try to pry apart the key ring. I tried using different items like a nail file but the staple remover looks like it will really work.
great idea!
I love that idea. I'll surely use it next time it's needed.
I saw that on Pinterest a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty clever, are you the one who posted it there? It not only saves fingernails, it helps with people who have arthritis or other hand problems too!
I too saw this on Pinterest and had one of those "hit me on the forehead "Why didn't I think of that!" moments. I have tried it several times and works like a charm!
The minute I read it, I grabbed my staple remover & a key ring & what do you know?.....It worked perfectly. No more busted fingernails for me. Thanks for the tip.
How many thumbnails did I break before I saw this? Ingenious!
I can't believe this is so easy! May I give two 'thumbs up'?

Thank you for this idea; so easy and practical! (Slapping forehead and muttering, "Why couldn't I have thought of this?")
