Use WD-40 to Shred Label Sheets

Spray the sheet of sticker labels with WD-40, then shred. The labels won't stick and your shredder gets lubricated at the same time.

WD-40 will eventually gum up the heads. WD stands for Water Displacement. While it does have lubricating properties, it was never intended as a general purpose lubricant. Its original intent wad to serve as a water displacement agent in sensitive electronic components.

Be careful using any non-shredder oil (including WD-40 or even cooking oils). Oils not specifically manufactured for shredders are a fire hazard, not to mention it can cause paper to stick together and get jammed in your cutting unit.
