My plastic bag clips were breaking because the freezer was too cold for them. I now use wooden clothespins and have eliminated the issue. They last a lot longer and I will be using them exclusively, even for items that are not kept in the freezer.

I use the black metal office clips of different sizes to close items in my freezer.

I've been using clothes pin like this for as long as I can remember. I've never bought bag clips, and twist ties are too much trouble.
