This is for all the folks that have purchased the Reynolds Handi-Vac and now have to find an alternative for their machine. Please DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. Ziploc Brand bags work with your Handi-Vac pump and they cost about a third the price. Any wonder Reynolds thinks it's a good idea to discontinue the bags?

How do I use a Handi Vac to remove air from Ziploc bags?
I would close the bag almost all the way, squeeze a straw in the corner, and blow out all the air. Close completely.
Is this what you are asking...how to use the kit?

I hope that is what you are asking. If not, please let me know.
Post back with an update! Blessings!
When you blow air in the straw you blow air in not out. You cant blow air out
You don't blow in, you suck the air out. Just be sure not to suck up any of the liquid or food that you are packaging, especially if it is raw meat or something. It's not as good as a real vacuum sealer but it will work in a pinch.
If you're going to use the straw to suck the air out then you don't need the vac.we want to know how to use the vav on these other bags
