Reachers are useful after surgery and for the elderly. However, they are fantastic for dusting behind and under heavy furniture. I was amazed to see how much dust was there. I paid about $12 for mine.

I love my reach extenders. I have several scattered about in the house. Good idea for using it to dust as well. Great way for getting the dust out of those hard to reach places.

Great tip! I have balance issues and get dizzy sometimes if I bend over wrong so I use mine often! Mine was a hand me down from a family member who had multiple ones and was downsizing.
I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked.
You're certainly right about how useful these can be. I also keep one outside as I'm always dropping something or need to pick up small items/sticks and they work for a lot of these tasks.
