I am looking to buy a bunch (up to 50/60) old basketball trophies for an art project. I need assorted sizes (small and large). Anyone know where I might be able to find these? They can be used/personalized, etc. They will be painted. Any help is appreciated! I live in West Los Angeles.

I am betting that a local high school or even a sports park would be a good place to ask. YOu could also put a WANTED ad on craigslist or a facebook buy/sell/trade group.
YOu can also contact a trophy company in your area and see if they have some old trophies they are willing to let go of for cheap.

We have trophies for a volunteer fire co.
They are from fire company competitions and bowling leagues and shuffle board games. Looking to get some money for these. Some are antiques. Some are made of marble and steel.

Put an ad on Freecycle. People are always looking to get rid of these.
i have seen old trophies in thrift stores... or you could advertise on line, or lookin e bay... or other sites..... ask around your friends. too
I just bought one at my local goodwill for my granddaughter, she just wants a trophy and there were many to choose from.
Perhaps check a few pawnshops?
Try a local Thrift Store, Good Will, Salvation Army or St. Vincent (fndly called St. Vinny's in our town). Local Special Olympics rummage sale is another place you may look for used trophies.
Talk to person in charge at one or more of these places. They will help you out while you will save $$
