When candles burn down but there is plenty of wax on the sides and the candle smells too good to throw away just scrape the wax off the sides of the glass and put the wax in a tart warmer. The wax smells better than it did when it was a candle.

This is one terrific idea. I've always preferred wax tarts and even stick incense over candles. They tend to have a heavier fragrance that seems to float through the house. I will be using this idea because I burn the tarts and occasional oil almost everyday and the tarts are getting very expensive if they are truly a pleasant fragrance.
Thank you,
Diane
What is a "tart warmer"?
It's to melt the little squares of wax that are sold by Scentsy and other candle and aromatherapy companies. The small piece of scented wax, called a "tart" is placed on top and a tea light is placed underneath. Here's a link to several versions on Amazon.
