When we replaced our windows, we kept a couple of screens from the old storm windows. Now, I wish we had kept all of them as there are so many uses for them.
We made a screen for the crawl space door to create more air flow for under the house when it is needed. It has worked very well and we have been using it for several years. It is just temporary and is held in place by the door and two small nails that can be turned to take the screen out.
