Our recycling center has requested that before bringing plastic bottles, that the caps be removed. Geeze Louise, now I have a bag of caps. Does anyone have a suggestion for what can be done with them?

Pinterest has a zillion ideas for crafts....most are pretty simple. Just put the phrase plastic bottle caps into Pinterest and you can browse for hours!
When the nephews were little, I made a beach checkerboard set for them from a large towel where I painted the red and black boxes and used the caps for the checkers! That was a fun beach toy and lost checkers were super easy to replace when they got washed away!!
Have fun with them!
PS...do you have a large, community style recycling facility that will take these by number...we do have a place that takes the ones if they are marked 5 6 or 7....it is a big bin behind a neighboring town municipal building...I take there about once a month or so when running errands so it is not a special trip. Their site was specific they did take them as long as they have the right mark!! Just a thought if you are NOT crafty!
I made a bunch of these for a Mother's Day luncheon:
