Uses for a Broken Crock Pot?

The pot is worthless to cook with, but that huge nice pot is too good to trash. What would you do with it? I am not in any way a hoarder, but that pot seems to have life left. Thanks.

I think a plant would look nice in it, be sure and put stones or marbles in the bottom as it does not have a hole for drainage.

Or start putting you coin change in it, mark the date that you start and in a year take the coins out and count how much you have saved.

You can decorate this and add a plant to the pot. If you want to use this as a planter, you'll need to have a good drainage system in the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise, the water will stay at the bottom and you'll end up with root rot. I think I would use another pot inside this one so that your plant receive enough drainage.

You can use this to store your lids in. There are always plenty of lids for containers around a home. Some people throw them in a drawer, others leave them on the containers, and some put them in a plastic bin.

You could also make a nice rock garden out of this and add a few cactus plants to this. It would look really nice.

You could use it for a holder for a plant

I have one I use for a baby aloe because it's so shiny and pretty. I only need to water it sparingly once a week so it's great for that kind of plant. (No holes.)

not sure what you mean by the pot is worthless. Are you referring to the electrical part or the crock part that holds the food. If the crock itself is still good, you can use it to bake foods in your oven.

It would be great for casseroles. Or even slow cooker recipes. Just use lower heat and check it often until you get an idea on how long to cook it and at what temperature
