Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 140 Posts I never really liked the the idea of caged birds, but love the intricate designs that bird cages bring.
Total Time: 2 hours
Yield: 5
Supplies:
- 3 bird cages
- 3 flower pots
- 4 flowers
- 1 soil
- 2 spray paint
- 1 glue gun
- 1 drill
- 1 moss (optional)
Steps:
- If painting your bird cages, make sure it is cleaned first. With spray paint, cover, and allow to dry.
- For my large cage I chose to use a coconut liner as a pot. It fits snugly and allows plantings to look nice and drain well. Fill half way with soil, then add plantings, water, and display.
- For the terra cotta pot I glued the moss around the pot below the rim.
- Here are some examples of the large cage hanging in the garden and other plantings.
