I was just wondering which dollar store will take coupons. I'm pretty sure I read about one in thriftyfun a awhile back, but I've been searching the website and I can't find it. If anybody knows which store it is, please let me know. Thanks!
Dollar General accepts coupons, and I belive that Family Dollar will also take them.
I work at Dollar General and yes we except them!
Dollar General and Family Dollar will take their coupons and manufacturing coupons together for one product. They take interent coupons. Go to their web-site their coupon policy is there. I would make a copy of each policy to take to the store when you shop with the coupons. You can print coupons from their web-site. Hope this helps. Anniems
both Family Dollar, Dollar General and Save-a-lots take coupons, Aldi's and Big(ODD) lots doesn't take them
Wow, I didn't know that Family Dollar & General Dollar take coupons. I have a Dollar General in my home town and shop there every chance I get. Thanks for the posts!
Allison,
The dollar stores don't take coupons. The Walgreens or the like stores do. I asked all the dollar stores in my area and there are 22 of them. None of them take coupons not even the Family Dollar. Your just going to have to talk to the dollar stores in your area. Asking isn't a crime, but demanding at the checkout lane when they don't take them is a crime. It's a small minimal crime that is a form of Solicitation and harrassment. I found that out the hard way. I had to talk to a policeman who gave me a warning not to do it again, and the store kicked me out until I can apologize to the clerk properly.
I stand corrected the Family Dollar store does accept coupons. I just read a tip that says they do. I'm not sure about all areas of the country though. Sorry Allison. Still ask though ok. The other may be wrong too.
CouponAlbum is one of the sites that that updates with the latest hot coupons very frequently.
Upstate New York will not accept them. From these comments, I think every one has their own policy. There doesn't seem to be a consistent national policy. Weird.
