Using Dollar Tree Plastic Containers

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 969 Posts

A plastic container being used as a drip catch tray for a potted plant.I spent some of today repotting plants. Not wanting to use my good saucers for drip catchers, I looked around for something a bit deeper. I found a Dollar Tree sandwich/food keeper box and cut it in half.

Then my brain went into overdrive. I took some photos of things I wanted to use them for but will provide a list of what you can, too.

Of course, there is one for under the plant. But they will be good for glass gems, pennies/change, snacks, paint, and buttons.

You could also do:

  • office supplies
  • hardware like tacks, nails, nuts and bolts, etc.
  • beads/smaller crafts
  • beaten eggs for omelettes or french toast
And the list goes on!

For $1.00, you get two and that is pretty good. They are almost the same depth and made of pretty sturdy plastic.

N-JOY!
