Here is their data sheet. I would wait at least 24 hours. images.homedepot-static.com/
Generally depending on the weather / day and how quickly it's dried..., but as a precaution best to wait at least 24 hours.
I hope no offense will be taken by this...as a dog owner whose dog is sensitive to everything...I gently suggest to people to avoid using any and all chemical lawn care products.
Even if your pup isn't sensitive...and the product is "safe" after 24 hours...you never know if another pup or kitty gets into it before that "safe" time they can get very sick.
Also...if it rains before the "safe" period, these chemicals can wash into the roads and sewers and be harmful to pets and wildlife...especially dogs and cats who lick their paws after a walk.
Google is filled with natural weed killers...that are pet safe. Or you could go the super extreme route and do a rock garden or other landscape that are low or no maintenance.
Thanks for listening! I hope no offense is taken...I am just a pet helicopter mom who tries to be a voice for those who can only bark or meow!
I agree that it is always best to try and use natural products on your lawn and yard but if you are trying to kill Nutsedge weed then not many natural products will work and even most of the "weed killing" commercial products do not always work.
Please remember that chemicals of any kind can be dangerous to humans and pets if not used properly and strictly according to the product directions.
Most will recommend to use early (no wind) and let it dry 24 hours before humans or pets are allowed in the area. Use when sunshine is around and no rain in forecast.
