Are Krylon spray paint and acrylic craft paint compatible? I have tried Rustoleum spray paint and the acrylic craft paint does not adhere. I want to use this with a stencil. What is the best way to make sure the craft paint sticks?

Choose a good acrylic enamel spray paint, or simply look for a paint designed to bond with whatever your painting. Then spray paint in even sweeps across your surface. Be careful not to allow any pooling, and take the time to make sure there are no uneven areas you only get one chance.I need to know the surface your painting first.
If you are using a stencil, it is best to buy stencil paint from the craft store. One good stencil paint is DecoArt Stencil Paint. This won't run or bleed around the edges of your stencil.
Furthermore, when picking a paint to use on a project, it is best to buy a paint for the surface you are working on. For example, wood has one type of paint that should be used and this paint won't work with glass.
If you're trying to stencil on T-shirts you'll need a different paint for this project. If you could give us an idea of the project, it would be a lot easier to tell you what brand of paint to use.
Krylon makes different kinds of paint. Make sure you get an acrylic paint and follow the directions on the can.
