My tube of hair color is enough for 2 applications. It has a small hole in it. Is it safe to use the rest?

Not worth it! why take a chance with your beautiful hair locks. Even out dated product is not good, as well as a punctured product! You deserve better, It also could alter the color from one tube to the other, giving you too many different color tones on your hair!
Normally it is recommended that if you do not use all the product in the tube when dying your hair that you throw it away and buy a new box when you want to dye your hair again. These products are not that expensive and it is a lot safer to invest the money on a good product than to use one that has been opened and used once.
I would not because it could dry the product out from the small hole. But in general, it is recommended to toss out after application and not to save it for future uses.
No, throw it out. Even without the hole, it's not safe.
I would recommend that you follow instructions on the container and discard any unused product.
If you were using the extra product on someone else's hair at the same time then perhaps you could utilize the rest of the product - otherwise - discard it and be safe.
I know someone who used hair colour to stain some dresses but they did not like how it worked after a few washings.
