Why do I have more hair color than the chemical when I use a partial bottle? It clearly states ie 30 ml of both bottle contents?

If you didnt mix the developer with the dye you can use it for your next dye job. If you mixed them, you have to throw the excess away.

Is it possible that you did not measure exactly? Or it is always possible that the liquids experienced some evaporation due to age or poor handling.

No..brand new or old..always more colr over developer, but bottles measurements say same amounts of each...one is thicker, but that is about it
