I found the labels were really easy to get off my med bottles, so I am going to use them for this year's and last years seeds. I may also use them for craft stuff. So now whenever I finish a medication I clean the bottle and remove the label. That way they are ready to use when I find a need for one. I might paint some of them with chalkboard paint, as a way to label them. There are lots of sticker-type label options too. Reduce, recycle, reuse!

Great post, I will use them for seeds now, too. With a small house, I've been using the wasted space between my basement ceiling joists. I take a self tapping screw and put it through the lid attaching it to the ceiling, then the jar easily snaps in and out, and I can see whatever is stored inside. Now I can organize oddball screws, cup hooks, drill bits...all the little things I used to throw in a big pile I'd have to dig thru whenever I needed one. I also use some for sewing/craft supplies stored in a different section of the ceiling. If you take a lot of medicine or supplements, it's a nearly free organizing supply.
you said medicine bottles abrls were easy to get off? how do you do it?
I save the black air-tight containers from my glucose test strips to use for all kinds of things - matches, herbs, pins, aspirins, etc for camping trips etc. I think you get the idea.
