Using Recycled Water in a Humidifier?

Can I use the discharged water from my high efficiency furnace in my humidifier? I've read it can have a higher acidity level than regular water.

Read the instructions on your humidifier. Ours specifies to only use distilled water in it, as other waters can lead to a mineral buildup over time.

You can look at the PH level the humidifier recommends, and get a PH testing kit for the water. Then you will know if you can use it.
