Has anyone tried to use a Magic Eraser without getting it wet? What did you use it on? What were the results?

i believe the chemistry behind the Magic Eraser is the reason it works better if slightly wet. That said, it can be used dry for the same types of cleaning but does a better job if is wet.

Procter & Gamble says the key to the Magic Erasers stain-fighting properties is in its water-activated microscrubbers. But theres nothing water-activated about itthe eraser can be used dry as well as wet, with little difference in the result.
