Is it harmful to use a 60W LED bulb for an indoor plant? I have an avocado plant and I use this LED for it, but I don't know if it is safe or not? I had an avocado last year and I put it outside, but it was cold and after one week the buds dropped onto the soil and the plant died. So I decided to keep my new avocado indoors at home. I will be appreciate it if someone can answer my question. By the way, my soil is organic also no buds and very clean soil.

There are special bulbs for plants. I got mine at Home Depot and paid about $5 for it.
It is not harmful, but may not do much for the plant. This website explains it much better than I can:
Avocados plants grown indoors do need a lot of light. Do you have a nice sunny window? That may be the best option!
Hi,
I actually found an article from NASA that explains how LED lights help plants. The article indicates that red and white LED lights are the best.
Blessings,
