up close of barkI love peppermint bark at Christmas, so I decided to make a Valentine's day bark this year. I love how colorful it is!

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Start with one minute (50% power), then stir. Continue microwaving at 30 second intervals (50% power), stirring each time until the chocolate chips are melted and smooth.
  2. Lay out a piece of wax paper and pour the chocolate onto it. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly. Refrigerate until hardened.

  4. Melt the Candy Melts according to package directions. Remove the bark from the fridge and pour the Candy Melts onto the first layer of chocolate. Spread out evenly.

  6. Add sprinkles and other toppings. Gently press them into the bark if necessary. Return the bark to the refrigerator until hardened.

  8. Carefully unstick the bark from the wax paper. Then begin to break it into pieces. If the bark is too thick and hard to break you can use a sharp knife. Enjoy!
