Gold Post Medal for All Time! 899 Posts
I love peppermint bark at Christmas, so I decided to make a Valentine's day bark this year. I love how colorful it is!
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 bag Wilton's Candy Melts, white
- sprinkles, M & Ms, etc.
- wax paper
Steps:
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Start with one minute (50% power), then stir. Continue microwaving at 30 second intervals (50% power), stirring each time until the chocolate chips are melted and smooth.
- Lay out a piece of wax paper and pour the chocolate onto it. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly. Refrigerate until hardened.

- Melt the Candy Melts according to package directions. Remove the bark from the fridge and pour the Candy Melts onto the first layer of chocolate. Spread out evenly.

- Add sprinkles and other toppings. Gently press them into the bark if necessary. Return the bark to the refrigerator until hardened.

- Carefully unstick the bark from the wax paper. Then begin to break it into pieces. If the bark is too thick and hard to break you can use a sharp knife. Enjoy!
