This was passed on to me from my mother. I would like to find out the value, information on mark, and the maker. Any and all input is appreciated! Thank you.

Wellsville Pottery operated from 1902 to 1959. I saw a covered dish on eBay made by the same company. They are asking $22.99
books.google.com/
Page 128 (LINK ABOUT) shows this logo to the United States (US) Pottery Company from Wellsville Ohio. My understanding is this is not the same company as Wellsville China Company whose marks are:
That said, this is a pretty piece, but where I live in Pittsburgh they have not held their value because there are so many like pieces.
There are not any that match your piece on eBay at the moment. None listed or sold. You may want to check back daily or weekly to find a SOLD version to get todays market value for the piece.
I never advise using similar piece prices when valuing items like this becomes sometimes a similar one is of no value and another one is of higher value.
If you do sell it online (once you find a value). Be sure to stuff the piece with tissue paper and wrap it carefully in bubble wrap, a cardboard wrap and then box with peanuts as these are so fragile and easily get smushed if not packed correctly.
PS...there is not a lot out there about the US Pottery COmpany. This site has some info if you scroll all the way down....your piece may be an antique...as they weren't in business for long, I am not sure why it also has info about 1932 in the listing--curious--will need to do more research!!
