I have 1897 Chambers's Encyclopedia in 10 volumes in good condition. Can someone can help me to know that how much it is worth?

Considering these encyclopedias are over 100 years old they have a value to collectors. The books look in good condition and can bring a higher selling price for your set.
- On eBay I see a few sets of encyclopedias the same year or one or two years difference selling for as high as 450 USD.
- Keep in mind this is the asking price and not the actual price the person sold the set for.
- If you decide to sell these on eBay take into consideration that you will have to pay shipping to the person who bought this set.
- I think it would be best to contact an antique book dealer in your area and find out what he thinks these books are worth.
- Find out if there is a person interested in your set and how much they are willing to pay for this set.
- Books like this can take a long time to sell because there isn't really much of a market for them.
