Encyclopedias don't have much value unless they are 100 years old, and then they are considered antiques. Save them for a few years to increase the value.
Although most sets are not worth very much (even 1926) occasionally a set will sell for several hundred dollars. You do not state the condition or type of binding and both of those will make a difference in value.
Step 1
Your set is actually 29 volumes and a 3 volume set of "updates". I did not find any listings on eBay for this set but this could change at anytime but I did find a set for sale on Amazon. The asking price $295.00. Of course there is no way to tell how long this set has been posted for sale or if it will ever sell. www.amazon.com/
Step 2
eBay and Amazon are the sites that sell the most books (all kinds) and they have the most viewing traffic so these are the sites to check often if you want a current "value" of your set.
Step 3
Shipping is always a problem so usually I recommend listing a set of Craigslist as the set is available for someone to see and no shipping involved.
Bottom line - I do not believe you will be able to sell your set for more than $50-75 and that may not happen right away as these are usually very slow sellers.
Probably $50 max. They will go up in value after the 100 year mark.
They are not worth very much. No one really wants them anymore. We have too much technology. You can get all your information from Google.
