Unfortunately, unless a set of encyclopedias is at least 100 years old, at which point they are classified as antiques, they aren't worth much. Ebay has sets with asking prices of $150 to $200, but that is ASKING price. If you search for SOLD sets, if they even sell, they go for much less - maybe under $50 or about $1.00 per book in the set. The library I work at, doesn't even take them for our summer book sale anymore. Most people just look stuff up on-line, and it is more up to date info.
If you can wait until 2028, that set will be considered an antique. Right now, it is not worth much.

It is true that you would not get a fair price unless this set is 100 or more years old. That is considered antique in the Encyclopedia world. Sometimes there are collectors out there, but the market is hit or miss when to getting more that $50 on the last set that was sold online.
