My mom is downsizing and we want to sell some of her old furniture. We are hoping you can help us with a fair price to ask? She has a 1930s Thomasville armoire, dresser, and nightstand.

In my area, brown furniture is usually given away. I would ask $300 for it, and see if you have any buyers.
A 5 piece set on Ebay is going for $175.00 used. The value is not that much for these pieces.Maybe a auction house can get more!
These are great pieces with a little art deco flare to them!
Depending on where you are you could ask between $100 and $750 for the set.
To figure out if you are a $100 or a $750 market, call around to a few vintage stores and see how much it would cost to buy a set where you are.
The value they will give you is retail, what you would expect to get if you buy it in a shop, you can expect to get 1/4 to 1/2 of retail if you sell it on your own.
You may be best having a dealer sell it for you. Where I am many estate sale companies will buy small lots of furniture outright.
If you go this route, get 3 bids and take the highest. I have found this method to be the most effective and least hassle as they usually keep the appointments and offer fair amounts, where people if you try to sell it on Craig's list or Facebook will be no shows and often try to get the price down even lower than you ask.
Post back what you learn for your area.
PS...if you do sell on your own, you may do better if you sell them by the piece.
Post back what you decide! I sure hope you are in a high demand, low supply area. These are lovely pieces!
The furniture is in good condition and you should be able to sell this for $100 to $200 for the set. I would check consignment shops in your area and see if they are willing to sell this for you.
