There are so many variables when searching for the value of a book that it's difficult to provide a very accurate answer.
Dust jacket?
A first edition could be valuable especially if in good condition.
Your copy is probably not a 1st edition so you can take a look at what some copies have sold for on eBay over the past several months.
A big problem with books as almost all books are very slow sellers and you may find hundreds of copies listed for sale online in all conditions and high and low prices.
Only a sold copy can be used as value as it shows what someone was willing to pay for that particular item.

You can check out some listings online at Amazon, Abe's Books, eBay, etc to see if you see a book listed that is in similar shape as yours. Keep a watch on some listings to see if they sell.
Without knowing more about your book (and no pictures) I would say the value could fall between $15-$35 but may take months/years to sell.
But if you're lucky enough to have a good 1st edition then you could be looking at serious money.

Keep checking back for more information from other members.
Unless it is signed by the author or over 100 years old, it is worth very little.
