Are the 1963 white leather hard back 23 volume plus index sets worth anything? I bought a 1913 house and found them stored away.

The 1963 edition (14th edition) is still popular but I do not know how long sets are listed before they sell as sellers will list sets like this and just leave them listed for months/years.
Your white set is not leather - it is leatherette.
You do not show a picture or state their condition and usually these white editions have turned 'yellow' on spines and these may have also 'dried' out so the spines may not be strong ( make noise when opened and may be coming loose from the cover).
You can do your value research by checking the same information on Google. Look at images and you'll see a lot of sets listed for sale on different sites.
Of course, asking prices are just a price a seller would like to receive for their items but only a sold listing will tell you value as it shows what someone is will to pay.
eBay is the only site that shows sold listing so check this site and look for similar sets (same edition but almost all 14th edition sets will be similar). It looks like some sets have sold but white editions can sometimes sell for a little more - if they are in very good condition - leather editions usually sell for more.

You can also look at similar listings on eBay to see what sellers are asking (hoping) for sets.

If you decide to sell you may be more successful if you list on sites like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, offerup, letgo, or any other site you are familiar with. eBay is difficult for inexperienced sellers but still you may want to try it.
You will need several good pictures and start your price high - even $250-300 if your set is in good condition. Also, state you will consider 'best offer' and local pick up.
Shipping should be by media mail so that it is not so expensive.
You can always lower your price if no one makes an offer.
There are still quite a few of these sets available still and there are some people who are trying to sell them online. The asking prices vary from seller to sell so it makes it very hard to determine the real value of these books. I would try and keep away from selling them online because boxing up and shipping off books like this is very expensive and can cost a lot of money. This will really increase the final price of the books and a lot of people are not willing to pay this high price for you to ship the books to them.
Hi,
I have seen these listed from $100.00 to $400.00. I think they are amazing. However, you might get more by selling them, individually, to crafters, who prize these books, in making journals.
Have a wonderful day!
