I have a complete set of 1966 Britannica encyclopedias and am wondering if they are worth anything? I also have the dictionaries and Books of the Year, 1967-1977.

Can you please post a photo of the cover (front, back, and spine) and the inside where it gives all the info. Thanks!
You could go on eBay to get an idea of what others are selling for.
Step 1
https://www.ebay.com
Step 2
Search > 1966 Britannica encyclopedia complete set
Step 3
Browse and see what is available
Step 4
Normally, I would say to mark sold so check to see what they've sold for but I haven't seen any sold.
Examples of some being for sale right now:

Sorry to say these books do not gain much on todays market. On ebay each set can only bring up to $35 to $50. Maybe a auction bid could bring in more through a collector!
Is this your set:

If so, watch it and if it sells, that will be today's current market value.
I can't see the spine to make sure it is a match.
If not, my best suggestion is to match your sets to those on eBay SOLD and that will be the value. If there are no solds, match it to an active auction and when (if) it sells, that will be the value.
The market is really bad right now for everything so you may need to watch for a while.
You could always start yours out lower than the highest on on line and see if you get that amount.
Sold prices are the only true way to determine value, as that is what a person actually PAID for an item!
