I have a brand new 2010 Encyclopedia Britannica set. It's never been opened, including year book, full set boxed and wrapped. It's the final printed edition. It's been stored in a dark dry place, currently located in Australia. I am considering selling, it was purchased and I still have the receipt. It's never been opened due to having worked overseas.

Reselling encyclopedias are difficult considering all the information in the books is online these days. Even if the books are new, boxed, and never opened this can still be a problem.
When you sell these books you will need to take into consideration the shipping cost of sending them to the buyer. It is almost better if you can find a local buyer for these books.
Here are a few listings on eBay to help you get an idea of the asking price for this set. Keep in mind this is what the seller is asking and not what a person has paid for the book.

Since the internet has become so widely available, encyclopedias have decreased in value, even when new and unopened. The only exception is if they are 100 years old or more. Then they are considered antiques.
They are not worth too much money. No one wants them anymore, there is to much technology with computers and everything.Sorry.
2010 Britannica Encyclopedia set is not like other sets of encyclopedias and is valuable.
Step 1
These sets (even used) are currently selling on eBay for $300 to several thousand dollars (in the US).
Step 2
You would have to check Australian eBay site for current prices as it would be almost impossible to ship to the US.
Step 3
11th Edition of Encyclopedia Britannica, widely considered one of the most important and valuable sets of encyclopedias, could net anywhere from $300 to $3,000 or more.
Step 4
Shipping will still be expensive so be sure you have the weight correct for shipping cost or require buyer to pick up locally.
Here is a link to sets now on sale on eBay USA site and also on Amazon. Asking price does mean these will be sold for that price or how quickly a set will sell (slow sellers usually).

They aren't worth much for information users, but more for people who use them as decoration or art. I'd sell them in that manner.
