I have a full set of 9th edition late 1890s. Some have cover damage (a few detached). Any idea on value and how best to sell them please?

The condition of the books is very important when selling off older books. I see from the image that these books are in poor condition and some of them seem to be falling apart. There are quite a few of these types of books listed online right now and the books they are trying to sell are in excellent condition. Here is one that is listed on Amazon www.amazon.com/
Considering the condition of your books don't expect to ask this much for your books or even get that much for them. As you cansee there are several sets listed online that are in a lot better condition than yours. You will really need to adjust your price and lower it down quite a bit if you want to sell this set of books.
