This is Ashton Drake's Alicia. Can you tell me what the value is and where is the best place to list it.

The market has been flooded with all brands/types//styles of dolls for several years, and the future looks even dimmer.
This just means that doll values are very low and probably will remain so for years to come.
Ashton Drake dolls were mass-produced, and this lowers their value also.
There are presently 22 of the 1992 Ashton Drake's Alicia listed for sale on eBay alone. This means there will be a large number listed on other sites as well. Picking a site to list will probably not make a difference, as the demand is much, much lower than the available dolls.
The 'asking price' on eBay runs from low to high. The asking price is just an amount that a seller would like to receive for their doll, as only a 'sold' price represents 'value'.
Example:
www.ebay.com/
Only one doll has sold on eBay over the past several months, and it sold for $29.88 with free shipping. Shipping could cost from $18-$20. This leaves approximately $12 for paying eBay fees and the seller's profit.
I would estimate that the seller will clear less than $8 on their doll, and this is not really unusual.
However, I would think that most sales would be a little better but the next problem is how long will it take to sell your doll? Weeks, months, and years is not unusual.
I would suggest you try to find someone who would love to have a doll like this and make a generous gift. Of course, there is always a yard sale - maybe $10-$25.
