I have a set of Britannica Junior Encyclopedias copyright 1975. There are 25 volumes, all in mint condition and no extras with the set.

Is this your set?
www.ebay.com/
It sold on ebay (NOT asking price, but someone paid) $75 for it! That is a nice tidy sum!!
If you are comfortble selling on eBay and packing and shipping something this heavy, it would get you the most exposure.
I can almost guaraantee you that you would not get that much in a local venue sale--like Facebook or Craig's list.
Be sure to pack and weigh and put the exact box size and weight (eBay advanced seller tool) if you go that route. It can go Media Mail (if you are in the US) which will cost less than any other shipping method.
Buyer usually pays shipping. If you offer "free" shipping that means YOU pay it, so be sure to add that cost to the asking price.
I would put it on for a good until cancelled auction with a best offer feature so someone an make an offer.
Post back how it goes!
Most of these encyclopedias are not worth more than $100, if that. You probably would be better off donating it and taking a tax deduction.
It is sad to say that this wonderful set does not go for much, under $100.You could advertise maybe to a book/Library collector. There are people out there.Good luck!
