I've had this set of china for about 35 years. I've searched but can't find the value. Any ideas? Thank you.

Arcopal is a French brand dinnerware sets that have become synonymous with Opal they have existed for over 60 years.
Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques started out as a small family crystal and glassmaking shop in Arques, Frances in 1825. By the 21st century, the business had grown to become the world leader in tableware manufacture. The Durand family still owns the privately held company that began producing Acropal plates and other dishware in 1958. From 2000 to 2016 the company ceased making Arcopal. Today Acropal glass dishware is being manufactured once again.
From the backstamp on your plate, I think your set was made in the 1970s.
I found a plate with the same stamp as yours, with the same edge www.ebay.com/
Your set does not have such a common pattern as Arcopal's popular collections for example Veronica. I could not find the exact name of the pattern even on French sites. You can try contacting Arcopal www.arcopal.fr/
To determine the price, check on ebay the prices of pieces made in the 1970s with a similar rim and less popular blue pattern. A lot of these are sold on French sites.
The closest I found is this blue onion pattern. A set of 4 plates is asking $22. www.ebay.com/
These are so pretty!!
If you have a worthpoint membership, you can find the last selling price of the pattern:
www.worthpoint.com/
I am trying to locate the pattern name--I did find some nice history of the company. They are still in business: www.arcopal.co.uk/
Generally their dishes are still selling quite well outside the US. I see SOLD prices for other other patterns ranging from $3-10 a plate.
Start high and take best offer!!
Dishes as full sets are super hard to sell, but if you can pack them very well and ship, you can make more piecing them out.
Happy to offer selling tips if you are NOT an experienced seller.
Thanks!
I would do a search on ebay, look for any name on your china , mint marks, dates , any thing you can find to identify the set, and then put in the search on eBay. Also check in the library for books on any "collector" plates.
