We inherited this Columbia 527 record player purchased by my husband's grandparents in the mid-late 50s. It is in a cabinet, and is in really good shape. It even works (I tried to upload a video with sound, but it would not upload)!
I cannot find any information about the value of this record player.

Your model doesn't have a large cabinet.
Vintage Columbia Kilosphere Record Player & Speaker Cabinet with about the same size cabinet (Model 428, Country of Manufacture: United States, needing some of the older electronics replaced) was sold for $75 picclick.com/
Another Vintage Columbia Kilosphere Record Player & Speaker Cabinet (working but needs a new needle) is on sale for $75 www.nextechclassifieds.com/
Vintage Columbia Record Console (model 632 with serial number 1123, powers on and turn table turns, but not tested further) with not big cabinet was sold for $60 www.ebth.com/
Vintage Columbia Kilosphere Blonde Console Record Player (For Repair) is on sale for $150 reverb.com/
If your Columbia record player works so great, then try to start with a high price $300, if it won't sell for a long time, then lower the price. If you want to sell quickly, then the price is about $100-150.
From what I have seen on each, these are in the $200 range
I didn't find your model, but this Columbia is somewhat similar and is priced @ $600:
www.ebay.com/
people on ebay are selling them for 925.00 or more, if you want to try to sell it, then you can try there, and you can not upload anything on it, it only plays records.
