I have a copy of the Consolidated Webster's Encyclopedia dictionary published in Chicago, 1951, Franklin J Mean editor-in-chief. What is this book worth?

It's not over 100 years old, so it is not considered antique. Because of this, it has little to no value.
This is not a popular item and takes forever to sell. School, libraries, and Salvation Army won't take them. They normally send them to a paper recycling center.
Truthfully - nothing as they are very difficult to even give away. The spell checker on the computer just about eliminated the need for a dictionary in writing and that was, at one time, the major source of finding the correct spellings of words in a letter.report, etc.
I would suggest placing an ad on Craigslist or Freecycle to see if anyone is interested.
From my limited recent experience: ways to increases book value
1st edition or 1st printing
A famous or important signature is in the book
It has beautiful artwork
